Activity Specialist

The main function of this position is to plan and facilitate on and off floor activity programs for residents of Foster Pavilion and the McGaw Care Center using the philosophy of person centered care.
The minimum education, experience and qualifications for this position are: Bachelor’s Degree; previous experience with older adults and group work; ability to work with older adults in groups and 1:1; knowledge of planning and implementation process for programs; experience working with computers and technology, ability to work independently; creativity and initiative; ability to assess and chart by government regulations; ability to meeting changing conditions and situations; and positive attitude and energy.
